One pitfall:
Many leaders are focused solely on digital lead generation – they’re only interested in gaining new clients and are less interested (or less able) on how to convert those new leads.
Prime example:
As a business owner, you’re are going to burn cash if your conversion rate is only .5%. It doesn’t really matter how many new leads you bring in if you can’t convert them. *Venture capital backed startup may get around this problem in the short term, but will eventually focus on conversion, nurturing and re-marketing efforts in order to keep the business going. Smaller businesses and private businesses don’t have that luxury and must try to balance all things at once.
